Version 7 and earlier for the Magic Wand selection. By Debbie....family2dyl	Unfortunately PI 7 doesn't have the option to Select on Objects, so you won't be able to select on the background inside your object. The only way around it would be to merge all and then select the necessary area. I would suggest creating the box first and then duplicating the whole image by pressing Ctrl+D. On the copy image, right click/merge all, use the wand to select the necessary area, edit/fill, right click/convert to object and then drag it over onto the original canvas.
