they are always the same and save them in your Easy Palette for a fast
access and also the previous projects, they build up from previous one. Remember, no soft edge, none whatsoever. |

Good, you did follow us here. This is where we are at. |
![]() |
Keep on working these step until you have done all 6 green path and save in between each selection. |
![]() |
Keep on going. |

Great, look very nice. This is about what you should have so far. Don't give up yet, we're almost done. |

Ok, now here is a little trick, for shading your pixels art faster
instead of painting each little square. I have made myself a small template like the one on the left. To make one, paint a checker with a black color in mode. Once done click out of mode and save in your easy palette. |
![]() |
Copy and paste onto your scene, and place it in your scene like the example on the left. |
![]() |
Duplicate, and place next to it, until you have a nice line following
your path layout and overlapping both color. Don't worry if it does go over the path road for now. Select all your checker, and merge as single object. |
![]() |
Choose the second darker green color, click on edit mode and paint
freely your checker. Click out of mode, send to back and save your work. This is what it look like on the left. |
![]() |
Select your checker with the pick tool, duplicate and position at the
bottom of your second path. Choose the darker green color and repeat the step above. |
![]() |
Keep on going like this until you have shade all your green path. It does make a nice transition between the colors. |

Here is what it does look like. |

We are now going to work on the mountain. Here I did kind of freely mix my mountain colors compare to other parts of the mountain. But we do have to work from bottom up with darker color at bottom and going up with lighter color. This way shows you that there is some different kind of trees on the mountain. Once you are done save your work. |
![]() |
Next I did select the mountain part that is further. Convert to an
object, click on edit mode and paint freely. The part of the mountain
that is further are the lightest color. Click out of edit mode and save. |

The mountain part above the cliff was the next step, I did paint freely on it, with the darker color at the bottom, and some dark color on the top left and right side of the mountain to give an illusion of depth. |
![]() |
Repeat the same thing for the last part of the mountain. Also if you still have some black outline showing, in your green path and mountain paint them up with the matching color. |

Great we just have the sky left to do. Again working with the darker color, I paint in mode freely around my cloud. At this point decided that I was going to have an other cloud and paint the sky at the top right corner. |
![]() |
Choosing the next lighter color, I paint inside the first cloud and at the bottom part of my sky. |
![]() |
I did repeat those step until I did use all my sky color. Click out of
mode and save your work. This is the end result. A bigger size were done here to show you a better view. |
