| Here am not going to show you the original tile as you already see it in the dual view. We go under Effect again and under Artistic choose Etching.
As you could see, Under style, you have a few choices, the stroke color I keep to black and the canvas to white since we are making texture. On the left, you have Stroke, you could set the way the stroke will be applied, size, the density and the variation as well as the angle. What could be very interesting is the Canvas transparency. Play with the setting, you will get different results each time you change a setting. In the example above is the setting I have used to get the texture below. |

Under Effect and Artistic again this time choose, Engraving.
This is a very interesting one to play with, since it have 3 level of layer and under each layer you could apply a different setting, work a bit like the z-merge. I suggest that you play here a bit longer, each setting and under each layer produce some amazing effect. This is an other fun way to make some texture. |
|
| Under Effect, Artistic, choose Stippling.
This one produces some fun texture as well, again you could choose the brush texture the size, brightness and contrast, color and canvas color as well as the trace, thickness and threshold, take the time to play in there, you may be surprised at the fun result you get. |

I did choose, Effect, Artistic and finger paint. |

There is a lot more to explore to make your texture in PI, I'll let you explore yourself further and leave you the joy to discover. Now we will look on how you could use them for interesting effect, not going to cover it all, most will give you a pretty good idea.
